The Life and Art of Charles A. Wilimovsky

This spring and summer, our guests will enjoy our latest exhibition featuring more than 60 original works by 20th Century Impressionist Artist, Charles Anthony Wilimovsky (1885-1974). While preparing his newest book, The Life and Art of Charles A. Wilimovsky: Forgotten Master, author Roland Sabates collected numerous rare paintings, etchings, lithographs and woodcut prints by Mr. Wilimovsky, an influential teacher at the Kansas City Art Institute and The Art Institute of Chicago. These impressive works are now on display in the Fine Arts Gallery at the Oak Street Mansion. Wilimovsky’s creations can also be found at the Louvre, the Smithsonian and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
